A different view of Zion Canyon from Zion Overlook on Utah Highway 14.. Those vast gashes in the landscape are actually Zion Canyon where we were just two days earlier. This highway is also know as the Markagunt High Plateau Scenic Byway. What a great name for a road that is only 66kms long.
One of our aims on this trip was to see some of the autumn colours, the cooler areas of the northern hemisphere are known for. We were finally getting to see them on this drive.
