The ring tail is absolutely beautiful and is a bit more timid than the brush tail which can become a bit of a pest. It builds a nest made out of sticks and leaves high up in the outer branches of a tree where it spends the day sleeping. This ones nest is in one of the trees in our back yard. You can clearly see the size of the pouch in this pic. bet you cant guess why it is called a ring tail.
