Take Off

Another pic of the Kookaburra from yesterday that ended up on the cutting room floor but which I thought was too good to leave there. The size of the wing span is quite surprising. I didn't think it was that big.

Definitely too good to leave out. Fantastic shot. I don't normally fav bird photos because my husband takes so many of them that my eyes tend to glaze over, but this one definitely is a fav because of the focus on the eye of the kookaburra and the timing too.
