Disinterested Spectators at Golf

One of the many mobs of kangaroos on Gailes golf course. They just lie wherever they please - usually in the centre of the fairway which is obviously the safest place to be when we're playing. Good for fertilising the fairways.
I meant to say. I had to Google to check that a mob of kangaroos was the correct terminology and apparently they can be called a mob, a herd or a troop. We've always called them a mob

They are the same here. I used to play a lot at a course in Anglsea, you could plow a ball right into them and they wouldn't even flinch.

Love the way they sprawl out when resting. Great capture of them. These continued droughts seem to be turning them into permanent park dwellers.

The epitome of nonchalance, love it :-)

Careful where you walk, huh! This is really an amazing sight - I gather they feel that you're in THEIR territory - no concern shown at all.

Do they count as a hazard ?? Quite a mob you have there. Lovely capture.

Okay, so I've just sat here looking at this pic for like three minutes, chuckling the entire time! (Yes, I'm nuts, but this picture is hilarious!) I can only imagine what it must be like to play golf with these big goofballs hanging out on the course. I suppose it's rather like playing golf in Colorado where the ELK do what they please on the course. They hooves make dreadful divots in the greens. Thanks for taking and sharing this picture.
