Just 12kms from the centre of Brisbane, the village of Brookfield seems a world away from the bustle of Queen Street.
Complete with its own community hall, show ground, general store and equestrian ground (I couldn't fit the cemetery in) you would be excused for thinking you were way out in the country.
We buy the seed for our various wild birds from the Brookfield Produce store which is just around the corner from the showground.
And its official - that sky is BLUE
