My son Rohan used to be a pretty good golfer. That was until he turned 18 and a whole new world opened up for him and golf quickly ceased to be important.
These days he rarely plays. His last game before today was 18 months ago.
In this sequence he is hitting off on the 440m, par 5, 15th hole. The result? this drive down the middle, 9 iron just past the pin, just missed the eagle put, birdie.
His overall game? He was a bit wayward of the tee and there is a lot of water on Palm Meadows so two lost balls and two balls in the water. He still managed a round of 4 over with 6 birdies including four on the trot on the last four holes.
His clubs? A set of old Ping Eye 2s that he bought third hand over twenty years ago and an old Titleist driver and Cleveland 3 metal.
Like the title says, he makes me sick. But the golfing gods got even with him. A huge blister on the pad of his left thumb. Ha Ha Ha
Instant fav, my thumb is really annoying, you know it has been too long when you get a blister from a simple game. Talented is talented no matter how long between games. Let's see how the next game goes.

LOL. Thanks Poppo! I love it. He makes me sick too!! I wish I had started when I was young instead of 56 years old!! I have now been playing for about 8 years with shoulder surgery time off in between! Oh well, better late than never. What a great collage.
