@jacqbb Hi Jacqueline - please don't worry about her - she is a very spoilt girl who gets lots of cuddles and attention. The box on her collar is to stop her wandering away across the creek and down onto the road. It's supposed to give her a slight shock if she approaches the wire along the creek - but she has only had that happen once in 10 years - when it was first set up. Now she knows that when she has the collar on she can't go near the creek (it buzzes if she gets too close) - so she can wander over several acres and we can let her out of her house without worrying about her. It does look bad though - people might think it's cruel. She's very clever and a darling! :)

my dog hates it too
