Flamng Ice by thedarkroom

Flamng Ice

I've wanted to have another go at setting fire to ice for a while. This time had to use the Lumix bridge ( lockdown2 delaying repairs to Penax) and I'm so pleased with the outcome here.

Cool photographer - Jackie
Theme - Ice

Great effect. Were you banished to the garage?

Absolutely amazing, love the flames and melting ice cubes. Seems like a rather dangerous experiment, hope nothing else burnt ;-)

Thank you all!! I wanted to see what bridge camera would do and in 15 minutes managed a few goodish shots!! You put this on pp too, thanks again

If you want to know how?? Lighter fuel liquid. Ice cubes, perspex sheet over black cloth.

Focus on ice, turn out light ( or for me shut garage door! pour over gas fluid. Light using oven lighter, step back and click away. Blow on flames as they look as if might fall on floor and set light to garage. Open garage door to let out carbon monoxide!!
