this eastern water skink is a fierce hunter. this meal was not easy as this was a big spider that fought hard. you can see one of it's legs in the background as a few got ripped off in the battle. the skink did not leave a single speck of spider behind. no theme this week and it just didn't it my rainbow so here ya go, you're welcome! @koalagardens

Oh goodness. I wouldn't have noticed that leg. Nice close up of the skink and it's unusual patterning.

@randystreat I filmed this for some time and I saw the leg come off. these skinks have really striking pattern and are about 15 inches or so long

@30pics4jackiesdiamond oh no, not a scrap was left in the end. but the spider is still alive at this point, so I'm guessing that ripping legs off makes the job easier. horrific when you consider it all!
