Clock Guts

Long before we met, the Missus bought an antique carriage clock ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carriage_clock), which was probably built in the 1880s. There were some serious thunderstorms hitting us around the time I was thinking of going out to shoot, so I took the opportunity to use the clock as a subject for the Macro-Gears challenge. There are some scratches and pockmarks on the side glass that I was shooting through, but, hey, it's a 140-year old portable clock.
Great closeup and lighting. Well done.

Oh love this. My dad was a clock maker by profession. I saw so many clocks close up. I have a old clock myself. I may need to try something with it like you just did. So cool!
