Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get your picture for the day (the time on this picture says 9:52pm, but I never got around to setting the camera to DST, so it was 10:52pm). I was watching the Stanley Cup playoff game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadiens when I realized that I hadn't had camera in hand at all. But it was the middle of the 3rd period with the score tied. If Montreal won, they were going to the Cup final; if Vegas won, it would force a decisive and always-exciting game 7. No way could I go to try to find a picture! Fortunately for me, the period ended in a tie...there would be a 20-minute intermission followed by sudden death overtime. The intermission gave me plenty of time to walk outside and get this shot of the full "Strawberry" moon.
