Several low pressure systems off shore have been producing high waves and rip currents along the Virginia coastline. The Missus and I went out to the pier at Little Island Park to check it out. It was fairly dark and the pier's lights were on, but I still had to crank my ISO to 12,800 for this picture of a 6 foot / 2 meter wave crashing just beyond the end of the pier.
