Wild Cargo

This is the Military Aviation Museum's B-25 "Mitchell" medium bomber. The B-25 - the only American military aircraft named after a person* - was a very effective bomber and ground attack aircraft. It was used in every theater of combat during WWII and remained in service with different nations until the last one was retired by the Indonesian Air Force in 1979.

*It was named after military aviation pioneer, General William "Billy" Mitchell.
