I had to run an errand to Richmond - a 5 hour round trip. I stopped by Dutch Gap to see my favorite wildlife area that I had to leave behind when we moved to Virginia Beach. I was richly rewarded by this male wood duck swimming through scattered duck weed in the bright midday sun.
