The Missus and I went back to Fort Monroe where we watched the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) get underway a few days ago. We took our dogs and had a picnic on what is likely to be the last really great picnic day of the year.
There's a ton of marine traffic moving past the fort, including this fishing trawler, the Tamara Alane.
