I was in Hopewell, Virginia, scouting a location for what I hope will be tomorrow's shoot. There were a couple of royal terns flying around over the Appomattox River. They were drinking from the river (they skim the surface of the water as they fly) and looking for food. They were a ways out and this was one of the better shots I got.
