The Missus and I were running errands today and on our way home we went into Stumpy Lake Natural Area, a Virginia Beach city park. I wanted to see if there were any shorebirds or waterfowl to be seen. There were two great blue herons, both of which were too shy to be photographed, and this great egret, looking for a late breakfast among the cypress trees.
