We went hiking at Mt. Rainier National Park this weekend (that's Mt. Rainier sticking out behind the clouds). I was very disappointed with my pictures, since I resorted to auto with a 32 pound toddler and pack on my back (yes, the pack was on my back...my hubby was just holding onto it here while I ran around in search of wildflowers to photograph :)) and worrying about a 4 year old on a 6 mile hike. I now remember why I love manual :) I was able to salvage some of them somewhat in post processing, but I suppose just the experience was enough. We were all exhausted afterward...we hadn't expected to hike so far, but I am really glad we did. We had hoped the end of the hike would result in a large field of wildflowers like I had heard, but as you can see, it appears we were too late in the season. It was still pretty amazing.
