I was walking Rosie and spotted this in the distance. For a long time I was convinced that there was a real person there. Only when I got close did I realise that this is a jacket hanging from a tree, presumably acting as a scarecrow. There was another one fixed into a hedge further round the farm.

I approached it from behind and because it was moving slightly in the breeze, I was convinced it was human. When I got a bit closer I could see it was hanging from a rope tied to a branch and my mind went into overdrive, still thinking it was a human. It was such a relief when I moved closer and could see it had no legs. I think it must be being used as a scarecrow- very effectively too.
You would have thought it a man hanging….scary but if course it could have been….relief! Bet you’re not the only one it fooled! I did notice the new seeds so came to the conclusion it was scarecrow .
