Burst tyre by tinley23

Burst tyre

We should have been travelling to Lancashire to take our grandson’s birthday presents, but we got as far as Stafford on the M6 and had a burst tyre. Luckily the RAC man arrived in less than an hour. Luckily it wasn’t raining/snowing/blowing a gale. Luckily it wasn’t next week on our way to Heathrow. Sadly, grandson won’t get his presents until next weekend now, but we’re all safe and home, so all’s good.
Sorry that you had a flat, glad you are safe and sound.

What a bummer! I know your grandson was probably missing you (and his presents, of course)

At least the story had a happy ending, great documentation shot.

Oh dear, good to hear you got home though. A saying of ours during our RAF days was 'All planning is flexible' Very often when we planned an evening out David would get sent away at short notice on a job and I wouldn't see him for weeks

oh dear not a nice experience Lesley

Oh no! How horrible. Burst and waiting on a motorway is certainly hazardous! Nice seasonally yellow floor there to accompany the wheel.

Always happens at the most inconvenient times don’t you think Jackie:)
