This is the beautiful entrance to ‘The Exchange’, previously known as the Bell Edison Building. It is a red brick, Grade I listed building and was built in 1887 to house Birmingham’s central telephone exchange which, with 5,000 subscribers, was the largest of its type in the country. It now houses three smaller marketing/PR companies.
