I ventured into Dirk’s playroom (not THAT kind) to open the windows now that it’s cooled down slightly, and found the worktop covered in various dice and other wargaming paraphernalia. Apparently only blue and black dice are allowed in this old tin.
@tinley23 well, you learn something new everyday! I thought they re enacted battles on tables with toy soldiers etc! Does that mean you can completely change the outcome of a battle??
@carole_sandford Oh yes, especially with fantasy gaming. I tell you, going to one of their Christmas meals and listening to them all enthusing about wizards and clerics and trolls, etc…well, let’s just say I make sure I’m not driving that night so that I can have a drink.
@tinley23 Ha ha! Well there is obviously a whole subject/ hobby that I know nothing about! But I feel that after 60 years of not knowing, maybe I don’t need to learn😉😂😂
