Taken from the hill the donkeys were on at Smithills Farm, just north of Bolton. The skyscrapers you can see in the distance are in Manchester City Centre, about 18 miles away, and the edge of the Peak District beyond.
Great view and for me lots of memories off travelling through this area with my UK friends who then lived at Pleasington. One extra pleasure from this project is access to 'views' from all around the world! Thankyou.
