I'm trying to participate in this year's rainbow challenge. I'm not sure yet if I want this kind of picture or if the colours should fill the whole picture.
I'm also trying to portray my neighborhood. I don't know who owns this old fire engine and why, but it stands out.

Update 05/2019: Year 3 begins! I'm living in Bremerhaven near the North Sea since October...
I wonder how it is used now - did you peek inside to see how it has been fitted out? Certainly a good strong red for the rainbow. I have noticed that the calenders always look best at the end of the month if the colour has filled the frame, but it is up to you - it is just as much fun to go out and seek identifiable objects that match the colour of the day. you are right - my pillar box would have been the perfect start to rainbow month.
@helenhall I looked inside today - I think about 6 people are fitting in their and they put in a wall in the back to get space for luggage.

My challenge for you is to try some close-up macro.
You're right, it's probably looking better in the end. But I think I'll do it like this this year, next year I might fill the frame.
