Actually, I didn't take any pictures of the paintings, but I recognized something nice: Last year at the time I'd been to Firenze and loved all the churches. But especially, I loved Santa Maria Novella. Today I found, that one of the old altar paintings of this church is placed in this museum. Nice reminder!
Comments and suggestions are much appreciated!
Here are my get pushed-challenges
Update 05/2019: Year 3 begins! I'm living in Bremerhaven near the North Sea since October...
@toinette -- I'm living in Munich for two months, doing research at a library and random other things. I haven't done much photography this time yet, but I hope to get out more.
@jyokota nice, may I ask what your field of research is? I know the problem, I didn't post anything for at last four weeks now and feel quite disappointed of myself :)
@toinette -- literature and literacy for children. What is your area of research? I'm at Schloss Blutenburg every day. Do you ever come out that way? It would be a good photo op! We could meet for a photo walk and eis cafe at the schanke. Or, I'd meet you elsewhere, too!
@toinette -- I just saw your area of research on your profile! Eastern European History. Fascinating. I will be living in Poland again for four months in 2018.
@jyokota very interesting - so you speak German and Polish? I would come out and would appreciate to do a tour, but I'm in Bremen at the moment. How long will you stay in Munich?
@toinette - I can read a menu in German and Polish but that's it, other than a handful of greetings and odd phrases like "versuchskaninchen" or "Verrücktes huhn." I'll be here until at least September 17, maybe until the 22. This month, there are 2-3 researchers from Poland, one from Bulgaria, two from Japan, two from USA, one from Chile, and others. A well-known Russian illustrator and a Spanish researcher are coming next week. Would love to show you around, and the castle is beautiful to photograph!
