18 miles from the Minnesota coast. We hiked the Finger Point Trail in Ontario right across the border from Minnesota. The first land mass is Pigeon Point, as you look to the horizon and to the left that is Isle Royal and to the right of it on a
separate rock formation is the lighthouse.
Interesting pov, I didn't realize you could see Isle Royal from the mainland.
The lighthouse is ROCK OF AGES, 3.5m off the west end of the island.
