8 Years After by tosee

8 Years After

The Ham Lake Fire, Spring 2007, burnt 40,000
acres in the Boundary Waters Canoe area and Ontario's Quetico Provincial Park, and severely impacted the upper Gunflint trail. It was so hot that it scorched and blacked the underlying rock in many places along the upper Gunflint Trail, and there is still barren rock and tree skeletons . Recovery is long and slow 8 years after.
Great processing Tom!

This is very stark. Your processing is really nice to help convey the barren mood.
