This is my first of a few photos from my recent visit to Niagara Falls. For anyone not familiar with Niagara Falls - there are actually two falls. This is a shot of the American Falls which is less impressive that its Canadian version. I could comment further on that but may get in trouble ;) The falls are 180 feet high and those are huge piles of frozen ice in front of them. It will take months to melt. Let me know what you think of the black and white...I kind of liked it but wasn't sure.
Wow! I've never seen The Falls look quite like this. The B&W definitely brings out the details of the ice formations. I can't get over how massive these ice chunks are!
Ow wow that is very impressive!! Can't imagine how cold it must be for moving water to freeze like that. It gives a fabulous effect and I love it in b&w!!
