72 Säntis Transmission Tower
The 123.5 metre high transmission tower, located at the peak of the Santis in the Appenzell Alps of Switzerland, was commissioned in November 1997.
Looking up from below, the design of the tower resembles the nose of a rocket ready to blast-off in to the future.
