The moon and Venus set together tonight at 8:29pm. As we sat out on the front lawn in the dusk trying to catch a breath of cool air, we had our own private setting over the roof of the house. Viewed large, Venus is seen to the left of the waxing moon.
Looks inviting.
I got a mediocre shot of the crescent moon and Venus tonight as well ... and I noticed a reddish "star" next to the moon and was wondering if it was Mars....
@corymbia Not Mars but it could have been Mercury, It has been travelling beside Venus during November but is now about an hour ahead.. It set about 7:30 last night.
