The frogs were out in force last night. They must have smelt rain coming because by daylight his morning we had 50mm. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful. What a difference a day makes.
So glad you had rain! It's amazing how frogs appear when there is rain. Where were they before? This little guy is so green and there is so much detail to this photo. Very nice!
Lovely that you recorded this fellow in all the rain and excitement. I was born in Eidsvold, lived at Abercorn as A child and can remember these longed for rain events. We children used to run outside barefoot and dance in the rain literally - letting the raindrops splash on our faces ........ah memories
@cate54 that is interesting. Our bowling friends are from Abercorn. That's just up the road from here. I still like to splash in puddles. That's what the dog and I did this morning. It was such a relief to get rain. Things were getting very desperate.
