Take me home country road...

What a surprise. We got a phone call from the owner of this block today to say he had found 2 of our bullocks that had been swept away in the floods 18 months ago. Wonder how many more made it to the dam and were able to swim out and take refuge in these hills. The dry weather at the moment may force more out into the open. Let's hope so. There are still 14 missing.
A great snap what a great find

So it wasn't the return of the prodigal son, but of the fatted calves themselves. What a great picture and title to illustrate this story of homecoming.

Great news and great capture, like the way the track draws you into the picture.

Oh wow - how fantastic - must have been really upsetting when they went missing. Perfect title as well.

@cejaanderson Yes I pictured people cycling down this road in tandem - a very interesting drive 10 km up and down across the foothills till we came to a set of isolated yards filled with cattle. An amazing outing.
