We'd been warned for a week of a winter blast from Antarctica which was to arrive on the 13th and arrive it did. Minus 1 degrees and white frost everywhere. As you can see we were unable to warn the weaners (young calves just separated from their mothers) and they seem quite mesmerized by this new event in their lives.
