Not the prettiest bird but what a beautiful collar to balance the lack of feathers on the head. We call them leatherheads or chatterboxes. All day long they chatter away to each other and fight and squabble over the grevillea blossoms. Oct15words...being lazy this month but the words still trigger a thought...no frost here today just a ragging bush fire ... mmm ...frost...snow...season...spring...flowers...Aha! There's the shot .
