Nature inspires. I don't understand how, at 11 degrees Fahrenheit, sempervivum tectorum, or "always living" looks just like it does in summer. Not to mention that it's growing out of a brick with about a spoonful of dirt! At closer look, you can see the baby "chick" just as heartily enjoying the brief sunbath in my side garden.

Amazing plant! I wonder how it can survive? I like the focus. It looks like it has little hairs growing off its leaves.

Nice DoF, color balance and great texture!
Plus now you have three similar photos in your comment section -- only Stephen needs to change his to be some kind of daisy-ish flower (mine is from Miyazaki Ghibli studio so not a real flower)
