We've had nearly unprecedented rain these last 24 hours and we luckily managed to escape water damage in the house, but our backyard in now an unexpected water feature. I thought the garden lights along the buried garden stones was worth a capture, and then I unplugged the electric lights when I realized what I was photographing.
What a beautiful photo, and glad we are reading about this electricity and water experiment AFTER you are safely unplugged. :) The things we do for 365. But really, a great photo!
@taffy we've got to get the shot where we can! The whole time I was thinking "I should be inside helping with dinner" rather than "there is electricity powering those lights"!!
@sparkle Yes, there are so many people really having a hard time with the flooding. This one broke many of the records, and though my flooding is down a bit from yesterday, the rivers are still rising - causing difficulties for everyone.
@arina yes, funny until it's not, right. I was seriously considering straightening the lantern for the shot, but was too lazy to figure out how - then it dawned on my what I was actually shooting!
Unfortunate Beauty! I hope you are all ok and not a lot of damage was done. This photo is amazing with all the reflections and colors geese 365 can make us straight crazy sometimes!!!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. LOL
