Macro series alert...I got dreadfully behind this week with final exams and grading and all, so I went on a bit of a macro spree in our home. We're "frozen" in for two days with no school for any of us as temps plummet to -22F (without the wind chill) tonight, so to relieve some of the cabin fever, I took this close up of a lit halogen bulb. It reminded me of an iris of an eye.
