A Japanese crow sitting on top of Byodo-in in the famous green tea town south of Kyoto called Uji. This temple is particularly famous for being on the 10 yen coin, but it's a very unique temple with a heavy influence from Chinese architecture and dates back to the mid 11th century.
This time around, I waited for the crow to do something interesting and I think I may have caught it here. The crow puffed up itself in a way that mimicked the gold-plated Phoenix, as if to say "I can look just like you, and I can fly away anytime I want!"
