I have a little apple tree that grows really little apples. Even when I thin them out they are so tiny that by the time you core them out, there is not much left to eat. I used to pick them and try to do something with them, but the past few years, I just don't mess with them. They end up as food for the squirrels and birds and most likely mice. Many of them hang on the tree and resemble Christmas tree decorations throughout the winter. Sometimes I get a glimpse of a squirrel with one in his mouth trying to lug the whole thing home. Oh, and did I mention WORMS? yes, they are wormy, I know I could spray for them, but it is just not worth it.
