We took a drive to Spokane, WA to watch my grandson participate in the Regional cross country meet. It was a 6 hour drive, I took a ton of drive-by shots, but nothing very thrilling. Just now home and these three are the best I have to post.
My grandson ran really well, but didn't place for the National competition in New Mexico, which we really didn't expect because he is in the bottom of his age group this year. But it was a great experience to run on the regional level and he is all ready for next year when he will be in the top of his age category.
Still very impressive for a kid his age to place in regionals!!! That's a long drive! Probably way more scenic than my drive to Seattle (again.) Congrats to your grandson for making it to regionals!
So exciting watching grand children do their thing, win or not! Exciting to take part in these events & his turn will come Vicki! Love the train racing!!
How fun to be able to go and watch him run. Congratulations to him on being able to compete. Having experiences like those help to prepare them for the next race. BTW, fun shot.
