Latourell Falls Revisited

My husband decided we needed to take the Old Highway up the gorge to see some of the other falls today. For those of you concerned about my recently broken ankle...there was NO hiking...just get out of the car and shoot and back in and down the road to another falls. WOW! what a beautiful morning! The roads are totally clear, but the air is sooo cold!

Another beautiful capture of the falls....I remember I fav'd that last one with the gorgeous sun flare. I wish we had waterfalls around here. As a child (in Ohio) I was always so fascinated by them.

@happypat @kathiecb pretty suer it is a type of lichen on the rock. It really is that color too, not hyped up saturation in editing...@quietpurplehaze I was safely on a pathway across from the falls...no danger whatsoever. There is even a rock wall to keep people safe.
