Sad to see the roles change as aging or sickness come along. It was a rough week, with more to come as we have been out of town helping our niece cope with health issues with her father. He seems to be improving.
I am so glad you have been able to be there to help, Vicki. I am sure your niece appreciates it. I hope he continues to improve. Thoughts are with you and your family.
Vicki this is a vary heartfelt image...so sorry for your family. You are such a great Auntie to help out! Hugs! Thanks for the visits and lovely comments!
So very touching pic. in those difficult day`s . Wish and hope for a soon recovery. Fav. this pic. for the wonderful humanity and lovely care it shows/gives.
It is definitely difficult to go through those times. But she has your support which will be a great comfort and there is also Someone who walks beside us in these times. A bittersweet capture.
How wonderful that your niece has your support and does not have to travel this road alone. It is a beautiful and very moving image, Vicki, of something most of us ultimately experience with our aging parents. Fav and prayers for your family.
What a beautiful and touching image. It was so good of you to take this shot. This is the kind of scene that is easy to overlook when you are focused on the people and what is going on. Thank you for your comments on my page, Vickie. I really like your approach to the project and think I will likely do something similar. Having a break made me realize that I let things in my life get out of balance. I don't want to do that again. Your approach feels much more sane! You can actually have your cake and eat it, too!! I appreciate your support and warm welcome back!
It is beyond tough. This photo is so moving. It made me cry a little. I know that we have to accept aging, and I guess it works...it makes you ready to go....but it just stinks that people have to degrade like this. I guess we just have to focus on all the good years and blessings.
