sorry for the huge amount of shots today. I will be away from the computer for two days and I had a couple of questions about the monasteries and wanted to post a couple more and thought they should be posted as a group. I will have to read up on this because I am just wondering if they carved out the rock? That would be really hard to do. Very cool shot!!!

@wannabe no, they didn't carve them...there are holes all over the rocks...they may have carved them to accommodate themselves once they got there, but I believe they used what was already there. It was so interesting
