The hills were covered with terraced groves of olive trees. Not only were the layers of rock fences beautiful, the ground around the was covered with cyclamen in full bloom. I had no idea it even grew wild like that. Here you have to buy it growing in a pot.
Well done! I like the textures of the stones. I don't remember the olive tree we had in our yard at our first home being this massive. Not sure this would have fit in the yard all that well.
Beautiful shot, Vicki. It is the same here - you don't find cyclamen growing in the wild. Sorry to correct you but the 'statue' of yesterday was a basker not basket. I think it comes from the verb 'to bask'.
A great beautiful shot of those lovely cyclamens and tree. Fav. We have Cyclamen in our garden too. They can easy grow by minis 10 degree Celc. But search for the right species.
