So, a new month, a new challenge - here we are in Macro-March... and whilst I don't promise to do macro shots the whole month, I thought I should at least start off in a willing mood.
It seems to me that everyone who has a go at macro-photography shoots, sooner or later, a photo of a slice of Kiwi fruit - it's a Rite of Passage if you like.
Even with clichés I like to be a little different if I can, so here is a slice of B&W Kiwi and it is pictured lying on the lit screen of my iPad to provide the high-key backlighting. (It played hell with the screen touch sensors!)
I just saw another picture like this and it inspired me to take my photo today. Hope you all have fun with Macro-March. Not that mine was macro. The picture was on a site about using available light. I like this as you have combine bw and macro.
