Is this flower not normally purple? Love it in blue. Really stark contrast between the blue and the 'blackground', and the lighting is perfect, both highlighting the sharp shape of the bloom and providing shadow to enhance the colour. Very striking.
Why Richard would you think I am starved for color. Because I jump for joy at every sign of spring I see in people's pictures, because most of my outside photos look like I post in bw. LOL Love this and I never would have realized it was the same one you photographed on 2/20. And blue my favorite color. YEAH
The only perrenial statice we sold when I was in the nursery business in So Il was a bluish purple. But the annuals are available in white, lavender, rose, and I think yellow.
