Today, Saturday, is the day that I post over at se7en - this is a version of the photo I have posted over there, processed to reflect the period in which this old apple press was made.
Great shot, the processing is spot on and I like the way it brings out the details/textures of the wood on the press, looks like a very tactile piece of timber
The other one gets my vote, but honestly, this is such a great proceesing job as it could easily be a photo from times gone by. Great to see the same photo in two such very different moods.
greetings -- I'm your get-pushed partner this week. Have very much enjoyed looking at your photos with their mixture of elegance and humour, often in the same shot. All very careful. My challenge is a scene with a group of people or even a very large crowd of people.
@francoise Hello Françoise - thank you for your kind comments and for the challenge. Finding a group of people in my rural neck of the woods is a challenge in itself and a crowd is a funeral! I shall do my best.
I'm moseyin' on over to seVen's page but first I want to say thanks for the comments shared on my Pretty in Pink clematis (I liked your idea of bottling it and calling it Essence of Spring) and the generous compliment and fav given the dandelion photo. Muchly appreciated.
Calvados!! We used to drink it to make room in our stomachs for multiple course meals in France! I haven't had it in years. I prefer this version but I woul even encourage more ofvthe texture of the other version keeping the mono of this version. Agree that the composition is wonderful for presentation. I imagine this is a subject for many pov's!
