Home late tonight after a long busy day with neither the time nor the opportunity to take photographs. A quick tour of the garden as dusk was falling turned up this little blue flower trying (and succeeding in my opinion) to upstage the Hydrangeas. I don't know what it is, but it's my post for today. (Looks better on black IMHO)
@jocasta Thanks Joy - I did take some shots with a plainer background, but in the end, I liked this one with the hydrangeas. As you surmised, I used the LR radial filter to isolate the agapanthus and then inverted it and reduced the exposure on the background; to further separate the flower from the background, I reduced clarity and sharpness to their minimum values.
