Fisherman in the Morning Mist

Captured whilst taking puppy Mitzi for her morning walk around Paimpont lake - the sun was just beginning to burn off the mist revealing this fisherman in his boat.

Thank you Joan - normally 24 favs would get me to PP but I've had a few PPs recently so it gets harder and this shot was taken the day before it was posted; it always takes more Favs for a shot posted late... it displeases the famous 'Magic Monkeys'. There are folks on here who regularly make Top Twenty without having made ether TP or TP... go figure!

Whilst the B&W version is good, this is sans pareil. I love the way the subtlety of the monochrome segues into colour, whispering 'frame' and creating a heady and bucolic atmosphere. Tough that I can only give it 1 fav!
