This was the view late this afternoon looking across Paimpont lake from the waters edge. (The Abbey was directly behind me... but you've seen enough of that this week!)
Beautiful shot. I really like the layers of interest and the focus on the foreground. Sometimes I am so busy looking at a distant view that I forget the importance of the bigger picture when taking pictures myself.
Just looked through the past few months of your pictures, so I'm sorry for all of the notifications! I couldn't helping fav-ing and commenting on a few! And I was really at a loss of what to challenge you with. How about for this week, your challenge is to somehow incorporate a book or books into a picture! Especially if it is a book that means a lot to you, that would make it extra special!
There's a sense of silence and stillness to this image for me. The rocks in the foreground add lots of character to the scene. Is this a place that's normally busy in warmer weather, I wonder.
